Objective: To compare the efficacy between mometasone furoate 0.1% and prednicarbate 0.25% in eliminating aropic dermatitis in children.
Patients & Method: A Double-blind Randomized Control Trial comparing the clinical efficacy of memorasone furoare 0,1% and prednicarbare 0,25% in children’s atopic dermatitis in Dr . Kariadi Hospital, Semarang, Indonesia was reported. Sbty children with aropic dermatitis, aged 1 to 14 years, who had the Han Rajka criteria were randomly allocated to two groups. Result: The study showed that no significantly different about the clinical efficacy between mometasone furoate 0.1% and pred nicarbate 0.25% in treating aropic dermatitis in children. The plasma cortisol level in the two groups after 21 days treatment were also no sign different.
