During 1990 – 1993, all cancer cases, not only diagnosed histopatologically and cytologically, but also from clinical findings were collected. They were analized according to the Age Standardized Rate (ASR), Age Standardized Cancer Ratio (ASCAR) and Relative Frecuency (FR) in order to to study the difference between those three systems.
The result showed that those systems gave many different orders of the most prevalent cases. According to the ASR data, the five most prevalent cancer in women showed the same findings as the former results. Lung cancer in men still ranked first, while in women became one of the six most prevalent cases.
